William James England

08 June 1930 - 31 July 2007
May He Rest In Peace
It is with great sadness that we have to announce that Bill England passed away peacefully on Tuesday 31 July at 10.15pm, at the age of 77, with his wife and four children at his bedside.
Dad was taken into Chase Farm Hospital on Sunday afternoon and was diagnosed with septicaemia & chest/kidney infections – however he was found to have a near-zero white blood cell count and was unable to fight the conditions. Very early Tuesday morning, he suffered a heart attack and, despite being resuscitated, did not regain consciousness.
The medical staff at the hospital worked tirelessly to try and bring him back but they were unable to help him.
The family agreed that his life support should be withdrawn and, at 10.15pm, Dad slipped away painlessly and peacefully, surrounded by love. May he rest in peace.
We would like to thank the wonderful staff at the hospital, all the doctors and nurses, for the support and attention given to Dad and, indeed, to all the family over his last few days.
We would also like to thank all those who have shown us their love and condolences. Such warmth and affection is greatly appreciated and it is lovely to know that Dad was so loved by so many.
